What is kept and why.

When you join the launch list, Underneath Press stores your email address, the date you agreed and the page or permitted source marker you joined from. This records your consent and lets us administer the list.

Underneath Press uses those details to send occasional emails about Alcohol Was My Solution, including the planned reader email series and publication updates. Delivery, confirmation and unsubscribe administration records are kept so the list works properly. Your details are never sold or passed to anyone else for advertising.

Every launch-list email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it stops future launch-list emails.

We count visits, page views and important clicks without trying to identify you. A temporary visit identifier is held only while the site is open. We do not use cookies for this counting and do not try to recognise you on a later visit.

Individual activity records are totalled into daily figures and deleted. Only the daily totals are kept for ninety days. Questions, answers and conversation content from Ask Theo are not included in these website activity records.

Ask Theo uses Pickaxe to process and store conversations. They can be reviewed by Theo. Do not enter names, contact details or anything else you would not want recorded.
