There are days in recovery when nothing memorable happens. No revelation. No dramatic test. No moment fit for the final scene of a film.
You get up. You do the work in front of you. You speak honestly to someone. You go to bed without needing to undo the day.
I once might have dismissed that as uneventful. I had become so used to intensity that steadiness felt like an absence. But ordinary days accumulate. They give people a chance to know what to expect from you. They give you a chance to find out who you are when you are no longer recovering from the previous night.
A quiet Tuesday will probably never announce how much it matters. It has other things to do.
